THE SHOTGUN BAR / Re: There's a sniper...
« on: March 21, 2016, 04:34:09 PM »
Kyle used the NATO 7.62mm (read .308) chambered rifles.

Fine for running around in hostile urban scenarios I suppose but the Barrett (M82) kicks its arse. Accurate out to 1800m, 10 in the mag, recoil manageable with the built in muzzle brake + 1" recoiling barrel and hard hitting power.

I'd rather lug around a real weapon rather than a pop gun. Just my personal opinion.

And fuck those pussy nato 7.6mm chambered shit they make every cunt use right the hell off. They've got the legs but they're bloody crap with F/A stopping power when push comes to shove.

.50 cal Barrett is where its at.

THE SHED / Re: MrsW has a dent in her head.

Blast fuck out of the dent with conact cleaner or rubbing alcohol before jb welding it.

+1 on the copper spray

Also whet stone the barrel faces and then whack em with the detergent / water twice and compressed air dry. You sure don't want grinding stone particles in your combustion chambers !

If you've got a die grinder then I'd also chamfer the sharp casting edges on the head around the valves to improve the squish band / hot spot reduction = more ping proof on stinking hot aussie days.

Yeah.. bloody M$.

I had an issue with my dual boot lappy after win10 upgrade. That fast start shit that auto engaged on windows fucked up my linux install by not allowing ti to mount my other always connected drives anymore (windows C and data D).

Fix was easy enough by booting into windows and manually disabling their bullshit but still .... those wackers at redmond are not playing nice ....

Looks to me like the pilot was aware to the end ... did a lateral adjustment with 2 seconds to go.

My money is on the motor conking out. No thrust on the bottom half of the loop.

Oh for me its a Ford Starliner from 1961. Originally packing a 352 cube V8, I'd want one with something uprated like a 428 or 460.

Oh I don't doubt it.

All of DW's pages are hand crafted HTML in notepad (or gedit). I've made the same page in dreamweaver as an experiment and the code was three times the lines and complex as hell (no bull).

I call it minimalistic effective code ...... eloquence.
