I always found projectors a bit wishy washy compared to plasmas and LCD's.
Especially if it wasn't a complete blackout.

 Agreed Logic, even rear pro TV's were susceptible to ambient light levels.

Yeah,

Worked ok at the old place because you could have total blackout, even so, never used it much, it was a gift, well a thanks from someone who stayed a while.

Just as happy with the LCD, even more so now, tv area is easier to lay out.

As I've said, my main TV is a 19 inch CRT that I bought in the late 90's.

I don't use it enough to much matter...
