Well, you have a hell of a lot more hair on your face than you have on your head, does that count?

Seriously bro, I know a hell of a lot about SMF and I'll do what I can to help keep an eye on things around here.

 :)

Well, told you the security can still deal with a direct Klingon onslaught, I have nfi what that glitch was we both saw with the avatars this am but whatever it was it's gone.

That aside, not been into every board yet but all looks cool.

Cheers

Cheers Chris !!

I still havn't got the avatar glitch sorted, must have something to do with my account. I waited till I was the only one logged in to do the patches so looks like its just me that's affected.

I'll try a few things out, profile wise.

Richo, you might want to try creating a test account and seeing how it looks.

It's just an idea but about the only thing I can think of but I'll give it a think and look around a bit but as I said, everything is working on my end.

This is completely and totally a shot in the dark but I had a quick at the logs and your account is generating all kinds of error messages for your signature being too long.

Text wise, it's not long at all but you do have a big image attached to it.

Like I said, I'm taking a total shot in the dark but that could be what is throwing things off for you.

Chris likewise still has one of the graphics intensive avatars you did for all of us way back when where as I changed mine ages ago.

I think that combined with the new update could be the problem.

At least try changing your sig and see what happens.

Hmm,

Or just down sample it, Jamie's thought makes good sense if you look at the profile code limits I think, haven't for ages.

I assume you mean by logged out "idle" cos my account is always logged in, even when I'm re-booting - part of that security wall I built ages back but it does go idle, nature of a lurking sniper :)

To be clear, I can see my profile pic and sig no worries in posts etc just not up top under the exploding knuck banner like it used to be.

Right finally stopped the error throw at 08:10:54 PM server time.

Ripped out a chunk of superfluous code from the signature section on one of the php files causing the error. So far so good  :-*
