A couple of things there Dready...

I don't know what's happening on your end but what you're seeing is the opposite of what I'm seeing in terms of the colors.

I've attached a screenie, but what I'm seeing, with both FF and Opera is, it begins as a grayish color on the left and then fades to black as it moves right, which is part of the stock theme.

The other would be that while I can change that, it comes at the expense of the width of the forum.

Notice all of the empty black space outside the vertical lines?

That's all dead space that the forum could be expanded into but that would be going to how it was before.

yeah i've just worked it out, its the screen res, works finer on my smaller crt @ 1280x1024, but is fucked soon as it goes to 1680x1050 of my main.

Okay, well in the future, I might be able to tweak that a bit but in the here and now, the biggest monitor I have is 1280x1024 and so it would be a bit hard for me to know how it's looking at a bigger resolution.

A new monitor is in my relatively near future and so I'll have another look at it then.

yeah im getten a 22-22" 1080p monitor soon :p .. will replace the crappy old crt that getten very dark  rofl rofl
