The GPZ
« on: August 29, 2009, 04:15:26 PM »
the GPZ has been gathering dust under the house for about 18 months now and needs a new home with someone that can give it a bit of tlc and enjoy it.

I'm trying to get a charge into the battery at the moment but the battery is good as dead and I cant be arsed buying another one for it.

Was a mighty bike for me I just parked it and walked away from it 18 months ago cause of some mental healths issues.

Best offer.

Pick up.

As is.

EDIT: By best offer I mean, pm me with what you can afford. I can get around 400 by trailering it to a bike wrecker.  But I would rather see someone use it than have it partsed.

:)

I's got the dough AND both of my feet are currently working.

But... Might be a long, wet ride home.  :-*

Hey Liam, im curious, how much work is needed to get it rego'd, cause if ya still have it in a few months ( not expecting ya to hold onto it btw) i'll prolly have the spare cash (long as the new job works out) to be interested in it, special since i know the history behind it :p

By then i'll be looken for a good second hander to get me by for a while.

Dready, im gonna bung it on the trailer and take it out to the new place.

It'll need a new back tyre for sure, the fork seals will need doing because its' been sitting and I'm not sure what else.

When they sit for a while they can get a bunch of crap fuel in the carbs and also if you're really unlucky some of the seals can dry out.

when i get time at the new place, i'll get it running again and check it all out.

If you don't want it no biggy, i'll keep it for a project or off road cart motor or something.

Bike has a new home.  sold it to the dude who installed my antennae for the new telly at our house.

He's got it back on the road now, it just needed the sidestand switch wires fixed and it started and ran well.  New tyre, fork seals and he's painted a few scratches.   Good to see it being ridden.
