Looking to swap TV tuner card
« on: July 20, 2009, 07:05:06 PM »
Hey hey.

Gots me a PCI-E DVB-T tuner card.

Problem is, my media PC doesn't have PCI-E.  Only PCI.

Card I has = http://www.hauppauge.co.uk/site/products/data_hvr1200mckit.html  (HVR-1200)

As it came as part of my PC (HP off the shelf), I only have the card available, no IR etc.

Idealy, would love to swap it for something like the LEADTEK 1000DTV-T (I have one of them in media PC already.  Will make it easier on driver front if they are all the same card.)

Hmmm...

I've got a PCI Compro DVB-T300.  Appears to be about the exact same specs as your card, ie Hybrid.

It does Digital and Analog TV, and has S-Video, Composite and Audio inputs.  Also has remote and corded sensor that you plug in the back, then run to <wherever>.

Alternatively, I've got an MSI Sky USB Digital Tuner + small antenna + adaptor for normal antenna that I've barely ever used.

Looks like yours uses a Connexant chipset?  I think mine's Philips.
